Our goal at TKO Weddings is to make your wedding day as stress free as possible and provide you with the best entertainment, images, video story, photo booth and wedding planning services. We want your wedding to reflect who the two of you are, not try to fit you into a "one size fits all" box.
Many years ago, I started out as a DJ in the wedding business with Moving In Stereo, which I started in Milwaukee.
I moved to the Madison area in 1996 and a few years later, joined a prominent DJ company and ended the 19 year run with Moving In Stereo. I worked for them about 10 years before getting the urge to start my own company again, TKO DJ Entertainment. Prior to starting that company, I already started my photo business, TKO Photo Arts.
At first, it was almost strictly sports photography, but over the years it grew into wedding, portrait, family, senior and many other types of photography.
Recently, I've added videography to my company and will be adding wedding planning to it as well. Thus, we can become somewhat of a "one stop" place to cover your wedding needs.
Meet the Team
Here is my current TKO Weddings Team. I'm the owner, DJ, Photographer & Photo Booth Host. Jen is our Wedding Planner and photo booth host, Jeff is my Videographer and backup Photographer and Scott is my other DJ.

Many years ago, I started out as a photographer, but never trusted film media, mainly due to so many things that can go wrong, such as the film mistakenly getting destroyed in processing, taking the images at the wrong settings and not having the redundancy possibilities like we do now with being able to copy images to more than one hard drive.
I knew I still wanted to make weddings part of my life, however, and fell into becoming a DJ, first at nightclubs and, shortly thereafter, working weddings, first with a friend's company, then with my own, Moving In Stereo, which I started in Milwaukee.

I worked for them about 10 years before getting the urge to start my own DJ company again, TKO DJ Entertainment. I actually still do events for the other company when available (we still have a great relationship), but mainly do my own events now.
As for photography, I still enjoyed photography and was an avid amateur for many years and then in the early 2000's really got back into it with my daughter playing high school and college sports. Thus, TKO Photo Arts was born.
It led to me becoming the official photographer for softball at Verona High School, then girls basketball followed. I also started shooting sports for Edgewood College, which I still do today. This year, I was hired to do football and volleyball for Verona High School plus did the gymnastics poster for the Edgewood/Verona team.
I started shooting weddings, when I wasn't performing as a DJ, about 10-12 years ago, then finally started doing it with my own company. Now, I have the capability, with a second shooter, of being able to be a photographer and DJ for many weddings, depending on logistics.
In 2015, I started TKO Photo Booth although now I have it under the TKO DJ Entertainment flagship. This year, I added video to the company and now have added wedding planning to the repertoire.
I have many friends that are vendors in the wedding industry and many recommend my services.
I also continue my education by going to seminars, conventions and learning from people I know and I belong to PPA (Professional Photographers Association), WPPA (Wisconsin Professional Photographers Association) for photography and NAME (National Association of Mobile Entertainers) and ADJA (American Disc Jockey Association) for my DJ'ing.
I'm also on the board of directors for NAWP (National Association of Wedding Professionals) - Madison Chapter and we have monthly meetings in which we usually have a speaker there to learn some aspect of the wedding industry.
This way, I stay on top of trends, continue to learn my trades from the country's top wedding vendors and meet many of the best local vendors as well.
I love what I do, whether it's photography, music or providing other services for weddings and other events. They say the best you can hope for is to do something you love for a living. I feel I have that right now.
Wedding Planner / Photo Booth Host
Jen is the Wedding Gal for TKO Weddings. She has vast experience in organizing weddings at the hotel level, as the former wedding coordinator at Chula Vista and The Raintree (until it closed) in Wisconsin Dells and the Best Western Hotel & Conference Center in Portage.
She worked with numerous couples at those locations to make their receptions and sometimes ceremonies go off perfectly.
She has also worked a number of weddings as a wedding planner, planning all or most aspects of the entire wedding day, something she can also do for you!
She loves working with couples helping them realize their visualizations of their day and has a great demeanor and sense of humor at times when many others might get aggravated.
Whether it's as a "day of" planner or is hired to help through the entire wedding process, helping with venue, vendor and theme choices, she will be a phenomenal asset to you and will calmly help you through the process and help keep you calm!
She has worked for me as a photo booth host and she does a great job doing that for me as well. Her favorite saying to guests is "switch it up", making those in the booth change hats and other props so all four pictures in a strip don't look the same. She makes it fun and is more than happy to help guests with extra prints and getting them in the right mood for the pictures.
I knew I had to find other duties for her other than just as a photo booth host and knew she had wanted to go into wedding planning for a number of years. I approached her about it and she was excited for the chance.
She will stay on top of the latest trends, whether it's themes, colors, the style of wedding dresses and tuxes and every other aspect of weddings.
I know my couples will be in great hands when I turn them over to Jen. Hopefully, you will choose her as your wedding planner!
Videographer & Photographer
Jeff has been a photographer since the early 80's and videographer/editor/film maker since the early 90's.
His educational background is Marketing within a business program (BBA) from UW-Whitewater.
He owned and operated a video production business for 10 years, where he provided video services for both commercial and consumer clients. He has done projects for such clients as UW-Madison, Kraft Foods, Oscar Mayer, Saint Gobain, Parker-Hannifin, Flambeau Plastics, Coca-Cola bottling, among others. He has provided photo and video services for the National MS Society, March of Dimes, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Coaches Vs. Cancer.
Jeff: "My creative style is more organic, more photo journalistic. I like to capture a moment in time, and preserve it. I prefer to take a photo of who someone is, rather than what they look like."
DJ / MC
Scott Bailey has been a professional actor, voice talent & disc jockey in major markets for nearly 40 years; in addition to numerous independent feature & festival films, his commercial portfolio includes such clients as Honda, Busch Gardens, Pizza Hut, Coppertone, Shopko and others.
His professional DJ career began in radio & nightclubs, then transitioned to private events in the late 1980s. Since then he has performed at over 1,700 wedding in Phoenix, Las Vegas, southern California & throughout Wisconsin.
He has extensively researched wedding tradition and has designed & presented seminars on The DJ's Role At Weddings and DJ Interaction With Other Vendors.
Scott's performance skills, industry knowledge, extensive experience and attention to detail has made him one of the most successful wedding professionals in the business.
